Cancellation Policy 01/09/2019

We really appreciate your custom at Hair Lux, but we do understand that sometimes you may have to change or cancel an appointment.

We ask that you give us 48 hours’ notice so that we have the opportunity to fill your spot with another client, otherwise a deposit of 25% of the cost of your service will be charged.

Appointment reminders are sent via text message and email 48 hours prior to your visit. If you need to amend or cancel, please give us a call on 01489 232212. If we are unable to take your call, please leave a voice message with your details. Please do NOT text, email or put a message on social media. DEPOSITS
A deposit of 25% of the cost of your service or treatment will be charged if you: • Missed your last appointment with us • Are a new client • Are booking online • Are booking an appointment lasting two hours or more, such as colour or another technical service.
The deposit will be taken when you book your appointment and will be deducted from your bill when you pay for the service or treatment you have received. The deposit will be fully refunded if you cancel, as long as you give us 48 hours’ notice. If you give us less than 48 hours’ notice and we are able to fill the appointment, we will either refund the deposit or put it towards the cost of your next appointment. The deposit will be fully refunded if a service or treatment is unsuitable for you or cannot be provided for any reason.

The price agreed at the time of booking is final, so if Hair Lux price list changes it will not affect the agreed charge.
For an online booking there is a small processing charge at the time of booking. This charge is set by the booking company and is sent directly to them – we don’t keep any of this charge. Our cancellation policy does not affect this small charge. Once we have received your booking, we will then contact you to discuss the service or treatment and request a 25% deposit on the full cost less the charge made by the booking company.

It is very difficult to fill appointments at short notice, but if we do, we will not charge you a cancellation fee. We will do our best not to re-arrange your appointment and to run on time, we really appreciate you doing the same. If you are running late, we will do our best to fit you in, but we may not be able to provide the full service or treatment.

We know these policies may be frustrating for clients who have to cancel at short notice for genuine reasons, but unfortunately missed and late appointments have a detrimental effect on our stylists, other clients and our business.
